TEMPLAR SPIRIT: THE INDEPENDENT GIN BRAND BREAKING BARRIERS WITH MILITARY PRECISION

Think luxury UK Gin and Templar Spirit should be top of your list!

This brand isn't just about premium Gin—it's steeped in military heritage and elite connections. Founded in 2021 by two friends, an ex-commando and an ex-matelot, Templar Spirit emerged from a passion for gin, British military pride, and a knack for spotting a gap in the market.

Templar has become an unstoppable force in the luxury spirits arena after switching distilleries, perfecting its blend, and launching several limited editions. “Branding has been key,” says Andy, one of the Founders. “Templar embodies military brotherhood and British traditions. We've come a long way from our original square purple bottle with a leather top many mistook for aftershave!” Today, their sleek black and gold bottle, featuring a label inspired by 7.62mm ammunition, screams sophistication with a nod to their military roots.

What sets Templar apart?

Sustainability, UK-based production, and nothing outsourced. Few can claim to have supplied the King with navy-strength Gin or produced a limited-edition Rum for one of the ‘Security Services’ for the King's coronation.

Teaming up with London Artist Daniel Hooper, Templar's limited editions—The Joker, The Lion, and The Siren—have taken its branding to new heights. It has even crafted bespoke editions for Royal Marines' events and is in talks with other regiments for custom designs.

Their USP?

Custom limited editions on demand. It’s that simple but hard to get just right.

Templar caters to the luxury market and is present in independent London bars and UK hotels. Giving back is crucial to the Founders, shown through their sponsorship of the ‘Slightly Chilli Man’ private festival in Edinburgh in July and the Royal Marines' Artemis charity auction. With soaring interest in its special editions, Templar is gearing up for the next level and seeking investment to meet rising demand.

External investment is crucial for brands such as Templar fuelling growth and innovation in the UK. With additional capital, Templar can scale production to meet rising demand, expand distribution, and solidify its position as a dominant force in the luxury gin market.
